HexaTech’s organization builds on central North Carolina’s advanced semiconductor research and manufacturing strengths, combining the skill sets of leading technologists in nitride semiconductors from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University, senior sales and marketing talent from Cree, and executive management expertise in leading technology companies.

John Goehrke John brings over 30 years of sales, marketing and general management experience to HexaTech. Most recently, he was CEO at Centice Corporation, a provider of unique technology and systems for identification and verification of chemical substances. Previously, he was CEO at Nextreme Thermal Solutions, a leader in thin-film thermoelectrics, which was sold to Laird Technologies in February 2013. Other operational roles include CEO of siXis Inc., pioneers of advanced Silicon Circuit Board (SiCB) technology, and COO of Luna Innovations, where he was part of the executive management team that successfully completed an Initial Public Offering. Previous to Luna Innovations, John was CEO of Luna Technologies and General Manager of Acterna’s Access Division, based in Germantown, MD, and the Fiber Optics Division based in St. Etienne, France. |

Gregory Mills Greg has more than 25 years in the semiconductor and passive electronics industries, holding positions including executive management, new business development, and worldwide sales and marketing. His previous experience includes Cree, which he joined in 1999, developing the Materials business into a leading supplier of silicon carbide and III-nitride semiconductor products. Greg also hails from North Carolina State University, and held sales, marketing, and engineering positions with AVX/Kyocera. |

Dr. Rafael Dalmau Rafael has over 20 years of experience in physics and materials science, including crystal growth, processing and polishing. He has over 60 scientific publications, and has been instrumental in the development of HexaTech's wafer slicing and polishing processes. |
